Munich, September 16, 2021 – The Munich-based industrial holding ADCURAM Group has acquired the prefabricated house specialists Streif, Schwabenhaus and Danhaus, which operate throughout Germany. Previously owned by entrepreneur Jörg-Achim Vette, the group is one of the market leaders in the rapidly growing market for prefabricated houses. The focus of the partnership is on the significant expansion of manufacturing capacities and support for digitalization. The transaction, the details of which have been agreed to remain confidential, is still subject to the usual regulatory approvals.
Streif, Schwabenhaus and Danhaus operate as three independent B2C suppliers of prefabricated and energy-efficient houses, linked under the umbrella of a joint holding structure. Thanks to its multi-brand strategy and the high density of show houses, the group not only has an excellent positioning, but also a high level of brand awareness. All three brands are characterized by sustainable timber construction with high energy efficiency and state-of-the-art architecture. The group currently employs around 700 people and in 2020 achieved sales of 208 million euros, a growth of almost 40% compared to the previous year.
Founded in 1929, Streif is one of the pioneers of the prefabricated house industry with around 85,000 completed house projects in Germany. The company from Weinsheim (Eifel) has a high proportion of turnkey EFH houses and offers its customers – from bungalows to generation houses or terraced houses – customized energy-saving house solutions tailored to their individual needs.
Schwabenhaus, founded in 1966 and headquartered in Heringen, Hessen, also operates as a provider of turnkey house building solutions known throughout Germany. By combining the highest manufacturing quality, the best fittings and excellent service, the company offers its customers prefabricated houses that are tailored to their needs and budgets. Together with Streif, Schwabenhaus was recognized for its high level of customer satisfaction in a Focus Money survey in 2020.
Danhaus, headquartered in Flensburg, Schleswig-Holstein, is also one of the pioneers in Germany for responsible and environmentally conscious house building. Founded in 1978, the company has been offering its customers Nordic architecture combined with innovative energy-saving concepts for over four decades. Danhaus focuses primarily on the production of turnkey prefabricated houses and has an excellent market position due to its specialization in clinkered facades.
The new partnership with ADCURAM now sets the course for a successful future for the group of companies: Together with the group’s management team, the market-leading role in the prefabricated house segment is to be further expanded. In addition to targeted expansion investments in machinery as well as the workforce, the growth strategy is to be realized in particular through the long-term strengthening of sales as well as the expansion of digitalization expertise.
